When Bryce and Casey reached out to me and told me the story of their relationship, I knew that I had to capture this wedding. They've been together almost 13 years! As you can imagine, they've been through a lot together. Some good, some not so good. Some of the words spoke during the 2 hour and 15 minute long non stop rehearsal toasts about them and their relationship (yes.. it really was that long, and every single one of the toasts was so perfect and personal) pulled my heartstrings a bit. I'm a big softy anyways, but it was hard not to get a little emotional when you see how important family and friends are to them.
We had the opportunity to work alongside Casey of Hello Love Photography again (You may recognize her work from Becky and Ryan's wedding last season at the Wychmere!) which is always a pleasure and the Boston Common Band made sure the dance floor was to capacity all night! Take a peek at the highlight film from their rehearsal dinner and wedding day above!
Here are just a few of the amazing photos from Hello Love Photography!
The Wychmere Beach Club is one of those venues where you just walk in and everything looks absolutely perfect. Becky and Ryan couldn't have chosen a better venue to have their wedding. From arriving to the reception by boat, to having a full DJ set at the end of the night by the groom himself, this wedding was nothing short of amazing from start to finish.
Working with Casey from Hello Love Photography couldn't have gone any better. Her work speaks for itself, and she was nice enough to give us some photos to share in this blog post. This was our first time working with Casey, and I hope it wasn't the last!
The winding road leading up to "The Great House" at Crane Estate never gets old. This wasn't our first time at Crane Estate, and we definitely hope that it wont be our last!
Elise and Barry said their "I Do's" in front of the well known enormous half mile long "Grand Allée". From there, dinner, dancing, and some beautiful words were spoken in the adjacent tent next to the Great House. Elise and Barry, thank you both so much for allowing us to be a part of your big day!
We've worked with Emily and Matt from Emily Delamater Photography a bunch now, and It's ALWAYS an amazing time. You can tell that they both really love being a part of the day and just create absolutely beautiful images. Check out a few photos below!
Michelle and Brian's wedding took place at the Connors Center in Dover, MA. We've never actually been to the Connors Center prior to this wedding, but with a little location scouting before, we instantly became super excited. The architecture throughout the grounds is beautiful. Michelle and Brian are an awesome couple, and this wedding was a long time coming for them. We couldn't have asked for a more welcoming couple and their families to kick off our wedding season here in New England.
Where to start on the many reasons why I loved every second of this wedding. Maybe it's the gorgeous grounds of Willowdale Estate. Maybe it was the beautiful flowers scattered throughout the entire venue that the brides mother designed, or it could have been the Hot Fudge Sundae buffet. I mean, who doesn't love a sundae?! Above all else, I think it was just the love that Alison and Nathaniel show for each other. Everything from the heartfelt vows that they exchanged in the beautiful courtyard of the estate, to the quick little glances and smiles they shot at each other throughout the day made their wedding an amazing one to capture.
I could list off a whole page of reasons, but then we'd be here all night. Enough of me blabbering, click the play button above and check out Alison and Nathaniel's highlight film!
It was a pleasure to have had the honor of filming Anique and Adrian’s fall wedding on October 5th in Maine. The Hidden Pond Resort in Kennebunkport was certainly hidden from our radar until the couple introduced us to it, but after spending a gorgeous fall weekend there we could not imagine a better and more fitting place for these two to get married! The weekend started for us on Friday, when we were invited to film their rehearsal and following dinner at the Tides Beach Club right down the road. We really enjoyed taking this opportunity to get to know the couple, their friends and family, the location, and of course to capture additional footage that will strengthen their feature film.
Saturday was wedding day and all was well when we showed up the cottages that morning. Anique and her bridesmaids were in “Moon Watch” preparing their hair, makeup, and dresses, while Adrian was next door in “Stargazer” handing out well wrapped gifts to the men of his wedding party; the groomsmen received some sharp new ties, as well as custom engraved bowls with their initials in them! Once finished with the preps, the groups went their separate ways to take photos while we went and set up for what was about to be a wonderful ceremony. Guests began to flow in from a trolley that shuttled them from their hotels and took their seats, and not long after the wedding began. Officiated by Anique’s Godmother, the two exchanged tearjerking vows that really showed those in attendance just how much these two loved each other. The deal was sealed with an exchanging of rings, a kiss, and a sabering of a bottle of champagne (a very cool Lebel family tradition!). The event shifted to the lavishly decorated Hidden Pond Barn for a lively evening of toasts, great food, and LOTS of dancing that capped off a fantastic wedding. Thanks to Emily and Matt from Emily Delamater Photography for shooting alongside us, the Tides Beach Club and Hidden Pond for their venues, the Label and Christie families for hosting, and most of all to Anique and Adrian for such a great time!
